Hands Against Hunger

At the Hands Against Hunger warehouse, meals are packed to be shipped overseas and some of the meals go to Local Food pantries. Some meals are given to schools to be placed in backpacks of children who are in need. Our $1,200.00 donations were matched by a Thrivent grant for a total donation of $2,400.00.

Lord of Life is a Host Church for families in the Family Promise program in Butler County. Family Promise addresses the needs of families struggling with homelessness by providing shelter, meals, and support services. As a host church we open our doors to these families and provide a place to sleep, meals and a caring group of people to be with in the evenings.

You can sign up online to serve, or on the Family Promise Board in the Narthex.

Thank you in advance for loving our families, being flexible, and contributing to this life-changing ministry!
